Rainy day today here in NC and nothing to do but catch up on reading, serving the web, and making fun of Greg.

Getting Old Or Gimme a 26T!

A great day for riding today - sunny and mid 60s (sorry teammates back home!). We tackled the Skyuka climb today, about a 30 minute climb with pitches up to about 18% - first time climbing I wish I had an 11-26 cassette rather than the 11-23 cassette I have used for years - must be a sign of old age! Jim arrived so we also did the Green Cove climb again as it was just too fun to not do again! The rest of the crew arrive this weekend - we're all sorry to see the temps are still cold back home, no really, we are! :)

NC Training Camp

We arrived in North Carolina for a week of riding in warmer temps - so nice to not to see snow! We have an awesome view from our back porch of some of the hills and mountains we will be riding. We did a great ride yesterday, a 17 switchback climb - hard to simulate on the trainer indoors! We met up with a big team from Indianapolis also here for some warm weather training - they "forced" us to ride hard up the climb!
